The moment MAFS Jules could 'smell a rat' at girls' night

The drama on Married At First Sight reached next level on Tuesday night as the girls faced off in a screaming showdown over rumours that Ines and Sam may have hooked up – which yes, they totally did.

The first to ask Ines if she fancied Sam was Jules, and according to the reality star, Ines didn’t go a very good job at all in terms of hiding her secret.

After being quiet for most of the night, Ines was not afraid to speak her mind by calling Elizabeth ‘disrespectful’ when she started speaking of her ‘husband’ Sam’s flaws – and it was at this moment that Jules claims she could ‘smell a rat’.

“When she was really vocal about Sam and had his back and was sticking up for him I was like, ‘Whoa’,” Jules told 9Honey.

“I stood up and said, ‘You’ve never really had much to say for yourself until now, do you like him?’ I could smell a rat, basically.”

When Jules asked, Ines denied she had any feelings whatsoever for Sam.

“I mean she lied to us all,” Jules said after realising the truth when the episode aired.

“[It’s] her prerogative, but until the Girls’ Night, she never really had an opinion on anything. Except for, obviously, when she was being filmed when no one else was around.”

During the episode, there were also rumours that Martha had a photo of Ines and Sam in the sauna.

Martha denied she had any sort of image, saying she believed it was a case of ‘Chinese whispers’.
