Milo Ventimiglia and Jarah Mariano Welcome Baby 2 Weeks After Losing Home in L.A. Fires

Just weeks after losing their Malibu home to the Los Angeles wildfires, Milo Ventimiglia and his wife, Jarah Mariano, welcomed their first child together, a daughter named Ke’ala Coral Ventimiglia. 

On Friday, Mariano announced the happy news with a heartfelt post on Instagram, which featured a sweet photo of her and Ventimiglia's hands with their dog Duke's paw and their baby girl's tiny feet. "Houseless, never homeless," Mariano began her caption, revealing that Ke’ala made her arrival on January, 23, 2025. 

In her post, she explained that a few weeks prior she and her family evacuated their home due to the fires, noting that they not only lost their current residence and the one they were about to move into, but also everything they owned.

Looking on the bright side, however, Mariano wrote, "My family & I are together, happy, healthy & safe, which is truly all that matters. We are deeply grateful to all of the heroes who help battle fires, as well as care for everyone affected by the aftermath for years to come. This will be an extended process of rebuilding and grieving for many, but we are feeling optimistic & inspired to welcome all of the exciting newness of our fresh start!"

She continued her post by thanking everyone who supported them during this difficult time—including friends, family, her birthing team, and the hospital staff. "Your love & generosity means everything to us," she added. "Gentle reminder to all, to please allow us this time & space to nest with our newborn in such a delicate phase. We already have everything we need in abundance & will be back around with updates in our own time."

Back in September, Mariano revealed that she was pregnant with her and Ventimiglia's first child with photos that showed off her bare baby bump in a bikini while floating on a surfboard in the ocean. "Baby on board!" the model captioned her post. 

The year prior, Mariano and Ventimiglia secretly tied the knot in Hawaii during a private ceremony attended by family and close friends. For the most part, the couple have kept their romance out of the spotlight, with fans only learning that the two were dating after the celebrity gossip account Duexmoi revealed they were an item in 2022.
