Mike Tyson Takes A Bite From His Past While Explaining This Go-To Move In Jake Paul Fight

Mike Tyson took a jab at a wisecrack on Friday when asked about his frequent glove chewing during his highly anticipated heavyweight fight against Jake Paul.

“I have a habit of biting my glove when I fight, yes,” the former heavyweight champion said after his loss by unanimous decision to the YouTuber turned boxer.

“Why do you do that?” asked combat sports journalist Ariel Helwani.

“I have a biting fixation,” replied Tyson, referring to an infamous episode in which he bit off part of Evander Holyfield’s ear during a boxing match in 1997.

“I’ve heard about that. I don’t want to know more,” Helwani shot back.

Tyson spent much of the fight with Paul chewing on his glove, which caused the broadcast team for the Netflix event to remark on the action prior to his loss.

The quip arrived following a fight that some critics called “ass,” a body part the former heavyweight champion flashed on-air prior to the bout.

Social media users swiftly took notice of Tyson’s post-fight joke on Friday.
