Speculation has been rife for years that Melania Trump would eventually divorce husband Donald, particularly once he had lost the US election and his time as President had come to and end.
And despite many apparent signs of a seemingly unhappy marriage - the most recent of which was Melania up and leaving Trump standing alone on a Florida tarmac - it’s now been claimed the former model is extremely unlikely to ever request a divorce.
A society publicist, described as a “friendly acquaintance” of the Trump family, has said he would be “shocked” if Melania chose to separate from her husband.
“The likelihood is 99.99 per cent they will stay together. I’d truly be shocked if Melania formally separated and divorced from her husband,” R Couri Hay told The Times.
“She grew up in a pseudo-communist difficult life.
“When she married, she wanted stability, romantic stability, financial stability, and through it all the one thing still standing is that marriage.”
A video shared online last week only intensified the rumours that Melania was ‘totally done’.
The day after Joe Biden’s inauguration, the duo were seen exiting Air Force One at Palm Beach International Airport, before they walked across the tarmac on their way to Mar-a-Lago Club.
And while Donald stopped to give his supporters a wave, Melania kept walking, leaving Trump standing alone.
“Melania is totally done. She already quit posing,” the video was captioned.
Late in 2020, former White House aides had also claimed Melania was ‘counting the minutes’ to divorce.
Omarosa Manigault Newman, who first met Trump when she appeared on The Apprentice in 2007 and went on to become Assistant to the President and Director of Communications for the Office of Public Liaison, had previously described Donald and Melania’a relationship as ‘very strange’.
“Melania is counting every minute until he is out of office and she can divorce,” Omarosa reportedly said.
“If Melania were to try to pull the ultimate humiliation and leave while he's in office, he would find a way to punish her.”
Shortly before the US election in November a psychic had also told Yahoo Lifestyle she predicted 'upheaval' for Donald and Melania Trump.
Sarah Yip aka The Numbers Queen is a numerologist, palm reader and psychic, who creates charts based on the sum of a person’s date of birth. These charts reveal your life path (spiritual job description), as well as the ages you will mature.
“His numbers also suggest changes in his home life (peaking March-April-May 2021) due to his 6 Personal Year,” she told us at the time.
“Melania and Barron Trump also have upheaval in their charts during this period. This could suggest a move in residence and/ or family and marriage transitions.”
