Melania Trump 'wants to go home' as she preps for big move
Despite reports Donald Trump is still refusing to admit his defeat in the 2020 presidential election to Joe Biden, there’s one member of the Trump family who’s reportedly already packing her bags in anticipation of moving out of the White House.
First Lady Melania Trump is said to be prepping the family’s Mar-a-Lago home in Florida for when their White House tenure comes to an end.
"She just wants to go home," a source told CNN, revealing that rumours of Donald Trump perhaps trying his arm at the presidential bid in 2024 "might not go over well" with the First Lady.
They report Melania has privately been “determining what to put in storage, what goes to Trump’s New York City digs, and what should be tagged for shipment to Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida”.
Melania is believed to be focusing on the couple’s move to their Mar-a-Lago home, which is reportedly being renovated with new paint and textiles to make it more comfortable for the family when they make it their permanent residence.
It’s also been reported that Barron Trump will move from his Maryland private school to one in Florida before the end of the school year.
It comes after former White House aide, Omarosa Manigault Newman, who first met Trump when she appeared on The Apprentice in 2007, said Melania is 'counting the minutes until divorce'.

“Melania is counting every minute until he is out of office and she can divorce,” Omarosa reportedly said, according to the Mail on Sunday.
“If Melania were to try to pull the ultimate humiliation and leave while he's in office, he would find a way to punish her.”
Appearing on the UK TV show Lorraine last month, Omarosa also described Donald and Melania’a relationship as ‘very strange’.
“What I have observed in the last 17 years would make your head spin. Sometimes they like each other but sometimes she is repulsed by him,” she said on the program.
Back in 2016, there were reports Melania ‘burst into tears’ when Trump was first voted into the oval office, with one friend saying at the time: “She never expected him to win”.
She also didn’t move into the White House for five months, because Barron Trump 'needed to finish school'.
