We worry about the baby: Meghan's friends express concern over bullying
Meghan Markle’s closest friends have spoken out against “the global bullying” they are seeing against the Duchess.
Five unnamed people from her inner circle have opened up and want to “speak the truth” about their friend, after months of negative press and attacks on social media.
In a series of interviews with PEOPLE magazine, they revealed their concern for the Duchess of Sussex and want to “stand up against the global bullying we are seeing.”
“Meg has silently sat back and endured the lies and untruths,” one former co-star said.
“We worry about what this is doing to her and the baby. It’s wrong to put anyone under this level of emotional trauma, let alone when they’re pregnant.”
The friends also revealed that Meghan hasn’t changed since becoming a royal. One LA friend even spoke about her caring ways, when she visited the Duchess in London for a couple of days while Harry was out of town.
“In the room she made up for me, there was a candle lit by the bed, slippers and a robe. We were the only two in the house. It was our time,” she told the publication.
Meghan also cooked and made tea everyday, according to the friend. She even didn’t mind wiping down the dogs if they got dirty outside.
“How much she loves her animals, how much she loves her friends, how much she loves feeding you, taking care of you — none of that has changed,” she said.
The candid interviews come after Hello! revealed last week that Kensington Palace are spending hours each week monitoring their social media accounts to moderate the sexist and racist comments aimed at the Duchess of Cambridge and Duchess of Sussex and their fans.
