In a post shared on X (formerly Twitter), McCain accused the network of "malfeasance" by not featuring any conservative hosts at The View table to fairly discuss why president-elect Donald Trump once again came out on top in the race for the White House.
McCain, 40, wrote, "It is actual malfeasance on the part of ABC news that there isn't one single conservative woman on The View this morning who voted for Trump or simply isn't repulsed by his supporters to explain to America why he is still so popular."

Following Trump's victory in the election, The View co-hosts didn't hold back their feelings, with Whoopi Goldberg letting fans know that she still won't be uttering his name, despite his new title.
Joy Behar said she "vehemently" disagrees with America's decision to elect Trump, and Sunny Hostin claimed to be "profoundly disturbed" by the election results.
McCain, the daughter of late Senator John McCain, was a co-host on The View from 2017 to 2021, where she was the only conservative voice at the table.
However, the current lineup of co-hosts includes Alyssa Farah Griffin, a lifelong Republican who even used to work for Trump. She recently revealed that she was casting her vote for Kamala Harris, her first time ever voting for a Democratic presidential candidate.
Contrary to what McCain argued, Farah Griffin did try to provide an explanation for Trump's victory, claiming, "The working class feels left behind. They feel like the powerful, the elite only care about them and their power. [Trump] spoke to them."
"We may not have liked his words, but they turned out for him…We need to bring down the temperature, the name-calling, the demonizing. If they want to do it, they can do it. It’s a moment to listen to the voters."
