Remember on Friday (me neither) when everyone was minding their own business waiting for the work/school/whatever day to be over and Vanity Fair wandered in with a bombshell report on Meghan Markle and Prince Harry? Highlights this way, but a lot was said, including some musings from sources on what it’s like to work for the couple, inside scoop on their marriage, and a pretty wild claim that Meghan’s team was shopping a potential book on “post-divorce.” (Note on that last one: A source close to Harry says there’s not a “shred of evidence.”)

According to The Times, Meghan and Harry “are understood to have dismissed allegations against them” and insiders close to the pair say they found them “distressing.” The outlet also claims the Vanity Fair article “proved to be difficult reading for the Sussexes.”

While Vanity Fair’s report did have some brow-raising moments, it also provided cute insight into Meghan and Harry’s relationship. Example? “Everyone” the outlet spoke to said they are “deeply” in love, and one person remarked, “They are so hot for each other. Like, you know how you meet those couples where you’re like, the way they’re looking at each other, I should probably not be here right now?”

Meanwhile, another source said, “I can picture him meeting Meghan and being just a deep breath of, like, ‘I’ve been so exhausted, and you make everything so easy’...I don’t want to be like, oh, it’s an Oedipus thing or whatever, but it kind of feels like she’s reparenting him in a way.”
