Meghan Markle has been serving a parade of California quiet luxury outfits amid her and Prince Harry’s busy 2025 Invictus Games schedule, from the rich espresso peplum dress that she wore to the welcome reception to the slate gray English plaid blazer that looks like a replica of a jacket that Kate Middleton (and late mother-in law Princess Diana) wore a few years back. In true Windsor fashion, the Duchess of Sussex slipped in a recycled style moment that referenced her working royal era–and appeared to be a sweet nod to Prince Archie–as she stepped out for a surprise hockey game appearance with Prince Harry.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex officially kicked off the Canada Invictus Games Opening Ceremony on Saturday, February 8 with a PDA-packed appearance. As they sat together in the stands, Markle–who wore a winter white wool peacoat from Sentaler that was knotted at the waist–could be seen kissing Harry in the stands and beaming at the celebration while flashing her three-stone engagement ring. Her choice of outerwear quickly drew comparisons to a very similar Sentaler look from her royal days: The cream midi-length coat she paired with brown suede boots, a chestnut brown hat, matching leather gloves, and a leather clutch in the same warm hue.

However, Meghan wasn’t finished with her Saturday style run, as she later changed into a different coat while making a surprise appearance with Prince Harry at the Vancouver Canucks vs. Toronto Maple Leafs hockey game. Stepping out for her second official engagement, the American Riviera Orchard entrepreneur was spotted wearing a long black peacoat with burgundy lapels that looked pretty familiar.

According to a post shared on X (formerly Twitter) by Town & Country reporter Emily Burack, her Canucks outfit was the same Givenchy coat that Markle memorably wore six years ago during her 2018 royal tour to Australia, New Zealand, Tonga, and Fiji with Prince Harry. During her October 14, 2018 appearance, the Suits alum was photographed holding hands with Harry as she embarked the plane in Sydney. One day later, the couple announced that they were pregnant with Prince Archie.

Per photos shared by the Vancouver Canucks hockey team on Instagram, Markle paid homage to that special trip by styling her Givenchy coat in a similar way. She wore a black Valentino turtleneck, black skinny leg pants, and Valentino boots with her long hair down in effortless waves as she headed into the game with Prince Harry.

While the couple’s two kids Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet are not joining them at the Invictus Games, it appears that Meghan is still sending her children some sartorial love from abroad.
