Meghan Markle Bundles Up in Sentaler Trench at 2025 Invictus Games Opening Ceremony

Meghan Markle brought her penchant for quiet luxury to the opening ceremony of the 2025 Invictus Games in Vancouver, Canada on Saturday. The Duchess of Sussex was accompanied by her husband, Prince Harry.

Markle selected an ivory double-breasted Sentaler trench, pairing it with a black top and nude Aquazzura pumps. Harry, meanwhile, suited up in a navy blazer, trousers and white button-down, adding on a blue tie.

At the reception for the 2025 Invictus Games, she wore a brown sleeveless dress by A.L.C., which featured a pleated skirt. She accessorized with a gold Cartier Love bangle and Princess Diana’s gold Cartier Tank watch.

Prince Harry reportedly gifted the heirloom to his wife, and she was first seen wearing it publicly in 2020. The same model currently retails for upwards of $22,000, though given its historical value, Diana’s watch is likely worth much more.

Over a decade ago, the Duke of Sussex created the Invictus Games, an international multi-sport event for wounded servicemen and women, after serving in Afghanistan.

As part of their multiyear deal with Netflix, the Duke and Duchess released a five-part docuseries about the games titled “Heart of Invictus” in 2023. It follows a group of competitors from around the globe, all service members who have experienced life-changing injuries or illnesses, leading up to the 2020 Invictus Games in The Hague.

The series also spotlights the event’s organizers as they prepare for the games, showing how they support each nation’s team, as well as their friends and families. The couple’s company, Archewell Productions, was behind “Heart of Invictus.” In 2020, Markle and Prince Harry signed a five-year deal with Netflix that was reportedly worth $100 million.
