Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton twin on royal outings

The Duchess of Cambridge and Duchess of Sussex gave raspberry hues the royal nod of approval in London today.

Stepping out for two separate engagements in the capital, the sisters-in-law both wore winter-ready burgundy proving it’s never too early to give your wardrobe a festive nudge.

For a second trip to the Al Manaar Centre in London this morning, the Duchess of Sussex dressed her bump in a $313 dress by Club Monaco which featured a velvet collar.

To keep warm, the former actress also wore a $763 co-ordinating coat by the US label – giving the winter shade an even greater footing in this season’s trend line-up.

A pair of $1,354 Givenchy ankle boots finished the look.

Across town, the Duchess of Cambridge followed in the pregnant royal’s sartorial footsteps also wearing the a berry hue for a visit to University College London.

Proving she’s the more thrifty member of the Windsor family, the 37-year-old recycled a Paule Ka skirt suit which she first wore back in 2012.

The Duchess was most recently spotted wearing the ensemble in Wales last year for a children’s charity visit.

Braving the capital’s cold spell, Kate finished the ensemble with a black turtleneck, $589 Tod’s suede block heels (which have since sold out), $8,796 Asprey Oak Leaf earrings and her go-to Mulberry clutch.

Unsurprisingly, royal fans were quick to praise the Duchesses for their most recent fashion twinning moment.

Mirroring each other’s headline-gracing looks, they both even went so far as to don a chic pony and tights.

For those of you in need of festive hair inspiration, may we suggest investing in a velvet ribbon as demonstrated by Kate.
