Meghan Markle installing a mum and baby yoga studio in new Windsor home
It was announced back in November that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are making the move from Kensington Palace to the Windsor Estate.
And now it looks like 37-year-old Meghan is set to put her own unique stamp on the dilapidated Frogmore Cottage, by installing a ‘floating’ mum and baby yoga studio in the new home.
The cottage, which is being refurbished to make it fit for a Duke and Duchess, is currently divided into five separate apartments.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are reportedly spending $5 million to transform the property into a sprawling home with ten bedrooms, complete with an exercise studio for Meghan.
According to The Express, Harry and Meghan are ripping up the Victorian floorboards in the cottage to make way for a sprung floor – a soft floor that is often used in dance and yoga studios.
It will come as no surprise to fans of the former Suits actress, who has been an avid yoga fan for years.
Her love of yoga comes from her mother, Doria Ragland, who is a yoga instructor back in her native California.
In 2015, Megan gushed about her love of yoga with Best Health magazine, saying she practices it a couple of times a week.
“Yoga is my thing. My mom is a yoga instructor, and I started doing mommy-and-me yoga with her when I was seven,” she said at the time.
“At this moment in my life, I would define yoga as the balance between desiring more and being content with what is.”
The Duchess loves vinyasa yoga, where she coordinates movement with her breathing with some saying they can have both a physical and spiritual experiences.
Meghan’s former Instagram page was also scattered with images of her contorting her body into mind-boggling yoga poses.
