Meghan Markle hires Michael Jackson's bodyguard for self defence
Meghan Markle has reportedly hired the late Michael Jackson's former bodyguard to learn how to defend herself ahead of her royal nuptials to Prince Harry.
According to TMZ, royal sources have revealed Prince Harry's fiancée has enlisted the help of Matt Fiddes, who is an expert in martial arts and fitness, to learn self defence.
The publication also reports the 36-year-old is hoping the martial arts expert will get her into shape ahead of her May 2018 nuptials to Harry.
The former Suits star is said to be back in Los Angeles to spend the festive period with her mother, Doria Radlan, and Matt is also flying out to tinsel town last minute so he can start training with Meghan as soon as possible.
Matt has got some impressive celebrity clientele under his 7th degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do.
The martial arts master was Michael Jackson's personal UK bodyguard for over 10 years before his tragic passing in 2009.
According to his website, he also provided "expert advice" as both "a bodyguard and self-defence consultant on the Kim Kardashian robbery in Paris".
The 38-year-old runs a multi-million dollar international martial arts franchise.
If any Australians are after the same expert training Meghan will be receiving, the expert has number of Matt Fiddes Martial Arts centres scattered around Australia.
Although, it won't be from him personally as we're guessing he'll be rather booked up training Meghan for the next few months.
