Doting mum Meghan holds baby Archie close as she and Harry touch down in France
New mum Meghan Markle has been spotted holding her firstborn bub, three-month-old Archie Harrison, as she disembarked from a private jet in the south of France.
The Duchess - who celebrated her 38th birthday earlier in August - was snapped with her babe in her arms while stepping off the 12-seater aircraft at Nice airport on Wednesday.
Precious cargo
The ex-Suits star opted to go casual in a white shirt and covered her long dark hair with her go-to cream fedora.
She made sure to keep a firm grip on Archie, supporting the bub’s bottom with her right arm while her left was clasped across his back.
The tiny royal was dressed in a cream and navy striped jumper and had his head uncovered, offering a glimpse at his red hair which he inherited from his father, Prince Harry.
The 34-year-old dad was also seen stepping off the plane sporting a green polo shirt, a blue cap and sunglasses and carrying what appears to be a white blanket.
A man, presumably an aide, was spotted carrying a child’s car seat near one of the fleet of black Mercedes vans waiting to whisk the young family away.
It’s unclear whether the Sussex’s are still staying in the ritzy French Riviera or if they’ve jetted back home to Frogmore Cottage in the UK.
Jet setters
The trio’s trip to France marks their third private jet jaunt this summer alone, after flying to and from Ibiza last week.
Harry and Meghan have copped flack for their environmentally unfriendly travels of late, with this most recent flight contributing an estimated seven times more emissions per person than a commercial aircraft.
Their choice of transport appears to contradict the couple’s eco-warrior attitude which saw them pledge to restrict the size of their family to two children only in order to help save the planet.
