Meghan Markle and Prince Harry 'devastated' by brutal snub
A royal expert has claimed that while they are 'irritated' they won't 'show it'.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were reportedly left 'devastated' and 'irritated' after being snubbed by the Primetime Emmys, with their Netflix docuseries Harry & Meghan out of the running.
"But of course [the couple] will not show it," Ingrid Seward, royal expert and editor-in-chief of Majesty magazine, told The Mirror.
The docuseries was the first project to come from the Sussexes' deal with Netflix, with the next rumoured to be about his Invictus charity.
Harry & Meghan aired three months after the Queen's death in December, with the pair slammed over the way they spoke about the royal family.
"In the series, Harry and Meghan talk about the royal family as if they were the enemy, while they themselves are trying to save the world," Seward added.

While viewers seemed to love the series, which broke a Netflix record for the biggest documentary debut with 81.6 million views in the first four days, this "was obviously not good enough for an Emmy nomination".
The pair did receive a nomination for the Hollywood Critics Award in Best Streaming Nonfiction, with the royal expert saying, "Meghan and Harry will concentrate in this and make it a positive, however irritated they might be not to be in the Emmy nominations."
'Gone too far'
It comes after a royal expert claimed Meghan and Harry have stayed out of the media in the last few months because they "know they've probably gone too far" in their 'attacks' on the royal family.
Since the release of the Netflix docuseries and Harry's memoir Spare, they have laid relatively low, only stepping out a handful of times.

Royal author Tom Bower has revealed to OK! Magazine the reason he believes is behind the lack of public appearances.
"All she’s got is the baggage of the Oprah Winfrey interview and her damnation of the royal family in various successive interviews," he said.
"That’s why she’s been so quiet the whole year. She knows they’ve probably gone too far, and she doesn’t know how to get out of it now."
The Rebel King: The Making of a Monarch author continued, "What is fascinating is how will it end? What will the climax be?"
