Meagan Good Reveals Fiancé Jonathan Majors Proposed in Paris After Taking This Traditional Step
The actor previously told PEOPLE his and Good's engagement is "a season of joy"
Meagan Good and Jonathan Majors got engaged in the City of Love.
Speaking with TMZ on Thursday, Dec. 5, Good, 43, revealed that the actor, 35, popped the question while they were in Paris together.
But first, he got her parents' blessing.
Asked how Majors asked the actress to marry him, Good said, "We went to Paris with my dad and he asked for my hand in marriage there. And it was really sweet and really cute."
"He asked my mom for my hand in marriage as well," the Divorce in the Black actress added.
The pair, who have been romantically linked since May 2023, confirmed their engagement to PEOPLE at the EBONY Power 100 Gala in Los Angeles on Nov. 17.
“We’re feeling great,” Good said as she showed off her diamond ring.

Majors smiled and added, "It's a season of joy."
"It's a season of all good things," Good added, to which Majors agreed with an "Amen."

The engagement news followed a tumultuous time for the couple. Good supported Majors throughout his trial in 2023 after he was accused of misdemeanor assault and harassment charges.
He was convicted of two counts of misdemeanor assault and harassment in December 2023 and sentenced to one year of an "in person batterers" intervention program in Los Angeles this past April.
