McDonald’s has given Aussie customers an early Christmas present by announcing a major change to its delivery service. While shoppers are used to paying between $4.49 and $9.49 for delivery, McDonald’s Australia has teamed up with Uber One to make it easier to say yes to a Macca’s run.

Starting from Wednesday, December 18, Uber One members will have a $0 delivery fee on McDonald’s orders $20 and over. An Uber One membership costs just $9.99 a month, which means you’ll save big if you’re a repeat customer.

“We want to make it as easy as possible for our customers to experience the great value and taste of a classic Macca’s summer and what better way to do that than partnering with Uber One,” Melanie Le Bas, National Operations Director for McDonald’s Australia, said in a statement.

“Whether you’re looking to treat your guests to a tropical feast, cool down the troops with our range of delicious desserts or sweeten the evening with a limited-edition summer sundae, we’ve got you covered.”

  • Wednesday 18: Free Big Mac

  • Thursday 19: Free Hawaiian McCrispy

  • Friday 20: Free Cherry Ripe McFlurry

  • Saturday 21: Free Quarter Pounder

  • Sunday 22: Free Oreo McFlurry

The announcement comes shortly after McDonald’s Australia released two new dessert options: a Pineapple Sundae and a Cherry Ripe McFlurry, available with both vanilla or chocolate soft serve.
