The show returned yesterday for its 50th season, and in the cold open, Maya Rudolph made her big return as Vice President Kamala Harris, while Jim Gaffigan debuted as her running mate, Tim Walz.

In short, it was hilarious.

Maya absolutely nailed her impression of Kamala, from the vice president's voice and delivery to her infectious laugh and penchant for funny quotes.

Jim was also spot-on as Tim — down to his mannerisms and BDE (big dad energy).
