The Lincoln Lawyer Renewed for Season 4 - What Is Neve Campbell's Status as Maggie?
Can we have some information about when the Burzek wedding will happen on Chicago P.D.? – Fernanda
You can save the date for… the end of this TV season. “I heard it’s going to happen in the finale,” Patrick John Flueger, who plays Ruzek, tells TVLine. “I’m touched that they think that it’s worth ending the season with it, but I don’t know how it’s going to go. I don’t know what the story is. I’ve always been fascinated to see how they do an episode of Chicago P.D. and have a proper wedding with all of the corn and cheese that that deserves.”
There’s a lot of confusion going around the Internet on whether the #OneChicago crossover this season is Episode 11 or 12. –Krista
The three-way crossover (airing this Wednesday, Jan. 29) takes place in Episode 11 — and according to P.D. star Patrick John Flueger, “this was one of the more grounded storylines we’ve told. And it felt powerful. For a bunch of shows that have deviated so fully from each other to come together in that way, it felt like there was a lot of heart that supported the storyline, if not also a bunch of explosions and smash-bangs and booms.”
Any scoop on the Robby/Collins dynamic on The Pitt? –Adriana
All we’re at liberty to say is that there is history between the ED chief and his senior resident. Meanwhile, Episode 5 (streaming Jan. 30) will introduce Robby’s son Jake, who was first mentioned in Episode 2.
Any scoop yet on Prison Break reboot? –Seth
The made-for-Hulu reboot, announced six weeks ago, is casting six series regular roles, including a dishonorably charged female Army Ranger who now is a CO at a co-ed prison that has only seen one escape in 100 years, and a male senatorial candidate whose an old friend of hers; an inmate serving time for a crime he perhaps did not commit, and the “shot caller” convict who has orders from a mysterious entity to take him out; a female CO trainee; and a very pregnant inmate whose baby daddy is locked up just a floor away.
In years past, I have been able to buy the Doctor Who Christmas special on Apple or other platforms. I haven’t seen it available to pre-order yet so I’m wondering if now that Disney is involved, will that be an option this year? –Monica
The latest special, Joy to the World, is currently available to view on iPlayer in the UK, and Disney+ in the rest of the world (where available). I am told that details of how to purchase it on DVD or download it will be shared at a later date — and possibly soon-ish.
After the absent-minded kiss on the top of Dr. Grace’s head by Agent Parker, is there any chance us NCIS fans might see (or see hinted) more of a romantic friendship between those two? –Serena
Ask me again after you see CSI: NY alum Melina Kanakaredes guest-star in Monday’s winter premiere as Eleni Kostakis, the owner of Alden’s go-to Greek bakery.
What is the status of The 1% Club show hosted by Patton Oswalt for Fox? I have a friend that wants to try out if it comes back for Season 2. –Danny
The good news is that The 1% Club will be back for Season 2 (but with a new host), as announced earlier this evening. The gooder news? Casting is now underway. Hurry to this link, Danny’s friend, hurry!
As The Rookie‘s Tim tries to grow and heal from the events of Season 6, will we see anyone from his past make an appearance to help him — either someone we have seen before, like his sister, or someone new? –Emily
I delivered your Q to showrunner Alexi Hawley, who confirmed that “we will see his sister again,” played by Peyton List (no, the other one). “We love her,” added the EP.
In The Rookie‘s season premiere, I noticed the title of Angela’s bedtime read, Seduced by a Sniper, but was not sure of the significance of it. Is it setting something up for a future episode? –Shap
I, too, wondered if the camera’s conspicuous close-up of that cover was planting a seed for anything. “Only in the back of my head as something we should do — put out a romance novel line!” showrunner Alexi Hawley quipped. “But no,” it’s not hinting at anything, he said, “at least in the near future.”
I’m dying to know the big secret that Silo‘s Judge Meadows, Lucas Kyle and now Juliette and Bernard know after speaking to the mysterious Algorithm. –Angela
For one, it’s important to know that Bernard was getting guidance from the Algorithm in his IT vault all along, as different entities sought to shake up the sealed-off status quo. “Bernard thought the threat was if people break through the airlock, they’re going to let in the [toxic air] and kill the silo, so ‘I’d better do everything this voice in the vault tells me to do, which is to kill the mayor, kill Marnes, kill Judge Meadows or whatever,’” showrunner Graham Yost notes. “He’s had to do all this stuff, but he thought it was for a different reason,” and in the Season 2 finale, “he finds out [from Lukas] it’s all been for nothing, and then Juliette says, ‘Well, maybe not.’” As for Meadows: Back when she was Bernard’s shadow, “She figured out, ‘Oh, it’s rigged, the game is already over,’” after the Algorithm at the tunnel door spelled out for her the poisonous Safeguard protocol, Yost explains. “‘They can kill us at any time, so why do anything? I’m just going to drink myself to death.’” Lukas similarly learned in the finale, “The whole silo might die if you f–k up,” says Yost, ergo his own decision to quit as Bernard’s shadow.
I was wondering if you have any info on Mr Loverman coming to American television? –Dre
I asked around, and there are currently “no plans” to bring the Lennie James/BBC One series Stateside.
I am currently binge-watching the NCIS mothership from the start and I am curious how much NCIS: Origins will either ignore or change events to suit their narrative? If the timing is right, Gibbs shouldn’t be meeting his first ex-wife? –Alan
Hmm, not just yet. The consensus seems to be that Gibbs married Diane somewhere in the mid- to late 1990s, so there is time. For what it’s worth, NCIS: Origins‘ Randy offers Gibbs a blind date with one of his wife’s friends (not named Diane) in Monday’s winter premiere. And I’d watch for Lala’s reaction to that.
On NCIS: Origins, is Tish the mother of Liam (Mike Franks’ long-lost son revealed in NCIS Season 4, Episode 18)? –Jennifer
“I do have the answer to that…,” co-showrunner David J. North responds. “But I shouldn’t give it out.”
What does Neve Campbell’s full-time return to The Lincoln Lawyer mean for Yaya DaCosta in Season 4? I noticed her name was missing from the returning cast list –Sam
I am hearing that DaCosta will not be a part of Season 4, seeing as it will focus on Michael Connelly’s The Law of Innocence, which does not feature her character of Andrea Freeman.
Any scoop on why NBC decided to combine the last two episodes of Brilliant Minds? Ratings issues? –Margaret
I wouldn’t be too anxious about that decision; sources tell me that NBC simply 1) wanted to make the freshman drama’s finale more of an “event,” while also 2) saving the finale from having to go up against the following Monday’s NFL wild card game.
