MasterChef fans want Cath and Rhiannon to do a show together: 'Fun TV'
The pair have formed one of the strongest friendships in this year's competition.
As this year’s season of MasterChef approaches its end, viewers have begun sharing their thoughts on social media about what the contestants should do after the show.
One person took to Reddit on Friday to say that they think Rhiannon Anderson and Cath Collins, who have both made it to the top 6 in the competition, should continue working in TV together.
The fan-favourite duo and self-proclaimed “best buddies” are the two eldest women on this year’s season at 47 and 54, respectively, and coincidentally both work as administration managers.
They’ve also both done extremely well in the competition and were recently paired together in a team challenge.
“I think Cath and Rhiannon should do a travel/cooking show together,” the user wrote. “Their enthusiasm and friendship would make for some fun TV.”

Plenty of people agreed with the idea and said that they’d love to see the pair working together in another format.
“There’s something very sweet about them. I think it will be fun too,” one viewer replied.
“I didn’t like Cath at first, but I’ve really come around on her,” another added. “She’s so supportive and kind with everyone on the show and she’s a kook at heart.”
“I think they're so cute, very friendly, enthusiastic and encouraging of everyone,” a third shared. “As a South African obviously not understanding the accent wars, I mean it's a heavy accent, but aside from that Cath is lovely. And Rhi keeps her calm, they make a good team.”
Declan and Robbie's close friendship
Cath and Rhiannon certainly aren’t the only duo to come from season 15, with 24-year-old carpenter Declan Cleary and 65-year-old youth support worker Robbie Cooper also forming a tight bond throughout filming.
Robbie told Yahoo Lifestyle following his elimination last month that he’d love to film a cooking show with Declan, who he jokingly referred to as his “new son”.

“Him and I, we have a bond that’ll last a lifetime,” he shared. “The love we’ve got for each other is really strong and we bounce off each other which is really good.
“I just can't believe how many people in different countries are wishing that Dec and I do a cooking show, it’s amazing. He’s so much fun to work with and I think it would make a really good TV show - the old man and the young boy. It would be great!”
