MasterChef's Melissa Leong shares tribute to boyfriend after divorce

MasterChef judge Melissa Leong announced her split from husband Joe Jones has described describing her new beau as "perfect".

Taking to Instagram, Melissa shared a snap of herself and boyfriend Rob Mason sharing a kiss with a sweet Valentine's Day caption.

"Thank you for eventually replying to my DM, @therobmason," she began.

"To me, you are perfect. Except for your views on onion, coriander and how often Maccas drive through is socially acceptable. Fortunately, we can agree that moonwalking in the supermarket is always ok," Melissa joked.

"I am usually averse to proclamations on days we are socially pressured to, but right now, I find any reason to celebrate the love you have, is cause enough to shout it out."

Her followers loved the post with Narelda Jacobs writing: "Love is reason enough for any celebration!"

MasterChef star Minoli Desilva added: "Love this," while Emelia Jackson wrote: "So beautiful."

"Stunnnning moment... Why not celebrate your love," one follower wrote.

"What a magic pic!" another said.

Melissa also shared a photo of the flowers Rob sent her for the special day, writing: "Flowers so big they couldn't fit in the front door? @TheRobMason doesn't do things by halves. Thank you, you are the best and most insane human and I love your face."

Rob shared the same photo of the pair kissing with the caption: "Happy valentines @fooderati // you’ve been a legend since the day you slid into my DM’s - long may it continue xxx."

Melissa first went public with her relationship with Rob the day after Father's Day last year, writing: "Gratuitous hot dad post, a day late for FD. Creator of world class cosmetics and the brains behind @morrismotley, brilliant father to a legendary babe squad and the best part of my day, nothing but love."

Rob is the father to three daughters named Violet, Beatrix and Margot from his previous relationship.

Back in December, Melissa announced her separation from her husband Joe Jones after almost four years of marriage.

"It has brought us such happiness to walk together, but the time has come for Joe and I to part ways and walk on, apart" she wrote.

"We ask for your kindness and consideration for our privacy, we will not be making any further comment as our private lives have, and will always remain exactly that.⁣⁣

"We wish you peace at the end of such a challenging year for all."
