‘The Masked Singer’ Thanksgiving Edition Rakes In Series’ Best 7-Day Audience In 2 Years

EXCLUSIVE: The Peanuts gang helped boost Fox to a Thanksgiving ratings win last month, as the network delivered its highest-rated and most-watched Thursday with entertainment programming in two years.

Fox averaged 4.6M viewers across new episodes of The Masked Singer and The Floor, according to live + seven-day numbers from Nielsen — the best since Thanksgiving in 2022.

That Thursday night audience was buoyed by The Masked Singer, which welcomed Charlie Brown and his friends to the stage for a special appearance. In L7, the episode managed 6M viewers, making it the series’ best episode in two years.

It’s also the most-streamed episode of the season, with more than half a million tuning in on Hulu and Fox.com alone, Fox says.

Following the beloved celebrity singing competition, The Floor delivered a 0.7 rating in the 18-49 demo and 3.6M viewers after seven days, according to Nielsen, tying a January episode as the series’ highest-rated original telecast.

It was the most-watched telecast in nine months, and it was the most-streamed episode of the season. Fox says that 738,000 tuned in on Hulu and Fox.com in the week after the episode.

This shouldn’t necessarily come as a surprise, because these two unscripted series continually perform well for Fox. Last month, The Floor hit a Season 2 same-day audience high, while The Masked Singer proved to still be a heavyweight in the 35-day window.

Both series are ending their current seasons on Wednesday, which likely means it’ll be a strong ratings night for the network.
