The Masked Singer Kitten accidentally spoiled by designer
WARNING: Spoilers ahead
The Masked Singer costume designer Tim Chappel has accidentally revealed who is behind one of the masks yet to be unveiled.
Speaking on Channel Nine's radio show 2GB 873 on Monday, he let slip who is hiding in the Kitten costume, with the clip of the interview swiftly being removed.
Deborah Knight asked Tim whether he was told who he was designing the elaborate costumes for, when the unfortunate blunder occurred.
“Ah, yeah, yeah it was Julia Morris. And didn’t she make the most amazing pink kitten? She was just so fabulous in that costume,” he said.
“But to answer your question, no, we design all the costumes first and then we get the cast and then we shoehorn the cast into the costumes.”
The mishap was not missed by fans of the show who quickly took to Twitter to confirm their suspicions.
“10 wont be happy,” one person said.
“DID @deborah_knight just get to the bottom of one of the biggest mysteries in Australian TV? The IDENTITY of one of the @maskedsinger_au celebrities????” another person said.

There were plenty of people that had already locked in Julia Morris as their best guess for the Kitten with her name even trending on Twitter during the show.
“Me googling ‘Julia Morris back brace’ convinced that she sent Urzila staged videos of herself in a back brace as a cover story for going on the Masked Singer like,” one person wrote.
Monday night's episode of The Masked Singer saw actress, singer and stage performer Lucy Durack unmasked as the Cactus.
Lucy, who is best known for her work in Wicked the stage musical, was guessed correctly by judge Dannii Minogue.
