Martha Stewart Reveals New Project in the Works That Fans Are 'Very Excited' About
Martha Stewart is making some renovations to one of her iconic properties.
The TV personality and businesswoman recently shared some photos from her Mount Desert Island property in Maine, which is receiving a big overhaul and a giant new swimming pool.
Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, March 5, Stewart told fans that she has "several exciting projects" currently in the works, including a refurbishing of an old ice pond at her Bedford Farm property in upstate New York.
But the lifestyle guru was primarily excited to update fans on the progress on her Maine property so far, as she gleefully announced that it is "actually starting to look like we will be swimming this summer!"
"After demolishing an old and unliveable [sic] house and discovering a beautiful landscape of mountain rocks and distant views we reconfigured the area The footings have been poured and real work can now proceed," she explained.
"These photos show the actual shape and design of the 'floor plan' of the pool and terracing," Stewart, 83, added in the caption of her post, which revealed the foundation for the massive pool.
Fans were instantly excited to see how the construction will turn out, with one of Stewart's followers writing in the Instagram comments, "Love to see the design, hoping something dynamic comes of it all."
"Everything you do is impressive!" another person added, while someone else quipped to the media mogul, "martha let me move in."
"I am very excited to see this project develop!" another commented.
One more declared, "Oh what a view you will have!!"
