Reality TV stars Cyrell Paule, 30, and Eden Dally, 26, have announced that they’re expecting their first child together.

The parents-to-be revealed their happy news on Monday - a day after their 12-week scan - in an exclusive chat with New Idea.

Surprise!

“I’ll be honest, it was not planned. I was freaked out thinking about Eden’s reaction,” Married At First Sight season six star Cyrell told the magazine.

After four pregnancy tests, the feisty Filipino-Australian nicknamed ‘Cyclone Cyrell’ revealed that “it sunk in eventually”.

When Cyrell broke the news to Love Island alum Eden via text, the soon-to-be-dad admitted he was “shocked” but “excited”.

“I can’t wait to have this little baby,” he added, saying that he thinks he’ll “be a great dad”.

Cyrell “can’t even comprehend” what Eden will be like as a father but thinks she’ll be “crazy!”

Gender divide

The couple have slightly different hopes for their unborn bub’s gender, with Cyrell “praying” for a girl while Eden wants a boy.

Both are adamant that their bundle of joy isn’t a publicity stunt, with Cyrell branding the accusations “sad”.

Eden expressed concern about the toll the stress caused by the rumours and accusations could take on his partner and child.

In reference to the infamous cafe assault and the ongoing drama surrounding the couple’s relationship, Eden revealed the measures he takes to protect his expectant girlfriend.

“I had to take [Cyrell’s] phone away from her, she does get emotional,” he said, adding that she suffered migraines following the event.

Cyrell and Eden went public with their relationship back in April after meeting at a bar in Sydney’s Double Bay.

Eden was previously linked to his Love Island co-star Erin Barnett and later Cyrell’s MAFS co-star Jessika Power, while Cyrell was ‘married’ to Nic Jovanovic but the pair split three weeks before the series wrapped.
