MAFS' Jessika Power shares surprise baby news

Former Married at First Sight contestant Jessika Power has announced some exciting baby news online revealing she is “over the moon”.

The reality star took to Instagram to share the happy news that her sister had given birth to a baby boy and that she is now officially an aunty.

“So on the weekend my beautiful baby sister Eliza and her amazing fiancé Michael made me an aunty to the most beautiful baby boy I’ve ever seen,” she wrote, adding: “I’m an aunty now so yes I’ll be a little biased.”

“I’m over the moon and haven’t felt such happiness in years.”

The 28-year-old decided not to post a full photo of the little boy to help ‘protect’ him from the internet, which she called a ‘dark place’.

“I’ve decided to not share his face or name as the internet is a dark place and I feel the need to protect him and keep him safe from any of the nastiness and judgment that I’ve received,” she continued.

“But I wanted to share my news and joy with all of my beautiful followers that care.”

It comes after Jessika Power broke up from her boyfriend James Brown after four months together back in June.

Her fans noticed at the time that the pair had unfollowed each other and had deleted photos of each other from their pages.

Jessika then confirmed the split, “We were having some problems and they got worse when I left the Gold Coast to go visit my family in Perth,” she told the Daily Mail.

She added, “Unfortunately, we were unable to sort through them and he's decided to move on.”
