MAFS star Jessika Power splits from new beau after four months

Married At First Sight star Jessika Power has broken up from her boyfriend James Brown after four months together.

Fans of the reality star noticed on Friday that the pair had unfollowed each other and had deleted photos of each other from their pages.

Speaking with Daily Mail Australia, Jessika confirmed the split, "We were having some problems and they got worse when I left the Gold Coast to go visit my family in Perth."

She added, "Unfortunately, we were unable to sort through them and he's decided to move on."

"I'm just spending time with my family and friends right now and I'm looking forward to getting back to the Gold Coast to commence my studies on 6th of July," Jessika said.

The pair may have only been together a short time, but they seemed to be on the right track, even staying together while in lockdown. Jessika had even been seen meeting James' young son.

When asked further about the split, Jessika said that she and James "were in a bubble" together in lockdown and when things returned to normal they realised they weren't right for each other.

Speaking with the publication when the pair first got together, Jessika said she was happy to be with a "normal bloke" rather than someone from reality TV.

"James is not someone who just wants to be with you for media. He doesn't care what shows I've been in, he likes me for me," she said.

She continued, "Obviously media is going to be a part of my normal life for a while but I can't have this forever, that would be a sad life."

The former reality star added that she is keen to "settle down with someone".
