MAFS bride furious at groom's 'repulsive' act

It’s the controversial TV show that’s exploded onto our screens with a bang this year and now one Married At First Sight bride has revealed her groom did ‘one of the most repulsive things in the show’s history’.

Hayley Vernon, who is married to David Cannon on the Channel Nine show, spoke about the incident on Hit FM Gold Coast yesterday, claiming David cleaned the toilet with her toothbrush and replaced it in the holder afterwards.

“Yeah he did. So I actually had one of the other girls knock on my door and tell me about that,” Hayley said.

“He did one of the most repulsive things in the show’s history and I’d almost say it was bordering on abuse.

“Everyone was in a particularly stressful set of circumstances. No one else lashed out like that and everyone was under the same amount of duress.”

Hayley and David’s relationship has gone south recently on the show, with the duo bickering over a comment Hayley made about David’s $25 per hour truck driver job.

“Shit just goes south and I think a big part of it had to do with the fact that David was continuously listening to people on the outside world, listening to parents’ opinion of their son dating a reformed drug addict,” Hayley said.

Yesterday, David hit out at the reality TV show for its clever editing in a leaked video obtained by Yahoo Lifestyle, claiming he has been given a rough go so far.

“I just wanted to thank all my friends for seeing through the bulls*** and clever editing,” he started off in the bedside rant.

“So far I’ve copped a bit of a rough edit but I’m just going to stay quiet and the truth will be told sooner or later.

“I’ve got bigger and better things to worry about than this s*** show. I know I’m getting slammed online but momentum is shifting and people are starting to see through Hayley’s bulls***,” he concluded.
