Former Married at First Sight star Davina Rankin has shared a baby bump photo with her followers online, celebrating how “amazing” the female body is.

Davina, who was cast as last year’s villain on the Channel Nine show, after engaging in a clandestine couple swap with Dean Wells, revealed back in May she is expecting her bundle of joy in November.

“I’ve never been more confident in my skin than what I am now,” she wrote alongside the image.

“Weirdly enough being pregnant has really made me fall in love with my body (honestly I thought it would have the opposite effect on me),” she added.

“There is not one ounce of insecurity in me at the moment.”

She also hinted that we could expect a gender reveal in two weeks’ time.

Pregnancy struggle

Last month, the 28-year-old admitted she was experiencing a harrowing side affect of her pregnancy in a 17-minute YouTube video, where she detailed the severity of her morning sickness during the first trimester.

“I just couldn’t peel myself out of bed,” she said, explaining how the symptoms eventually led to ‘throwing up at least five times a day’ when she and partner Jaxon took a trip to the Philippines last month.

Thankfully, when Davina reached her second trimester the morning sickness subsided just before she announced the pregnancy on Instagram.

The happy announcement

Back in May, Davina announced she was expecting her first child with boyfriend Jaxon Manuel.

After revealing the happy news on the cover of NW magazine, Davina took to Instagram to share her joy.

“This years Mother’s Day was just that tiny bit more special,” she wrote. “Especially knowing a little baby Manuel is due to join the family November ‘19”.
