Mariska Hargitay and Peter Hermann were dressed to the nines while posing on the red carpet during what appeared to be a fabulous date night on Tuesday.

The celebrity couple looked equal parts chic and sophisticated while attending the inaugural Gotham TV Awards at Cipriani on June 4. Hargitay, 60, and Hermann, 56, were photographed at the New York City event with their arms around each other, posing before a green backdrop.

For the first-ever awards ceremony, the Law & Order: Special Victims Unit actress stepped out in a metallic silver maxi dress from Tom Ford and beige pumps. She accessorized the look with a pair of silver earrings, a metallic clutch and some silver rings. To complete the ensemble, she styled her shoulder-length hair in voluminous beach waves, adding a peachy lipstick and ultra-glam smokey eye.

Meanwhile, Hermann sported an all-black outfit made up of a patterned suit jacket, which he layered on top of a black button-up and paired with matching slacks and a pair of loafers.
