Eva Mendes is the latest celebrity to sign on as a face for beauty giant Estée Lauder. The 41-year-old actress (and new mum) revealed on Instagram that she is “thrilled to be working” with the iconic brand on their New Dimension Skincare line.
"Since my teenage years, I have always admired Estée Lauder, the woman and the brand," she said. "I'm excited to represent New Dimension skincare because I can relate personally to what it stands for – the power we have as women to take control and transform our own beauty."
The range will include two contouring compacts – one for face and one for eyes.
“I’m always desperate for products that help me look not as tired,” the actress (and new mother to seven-month-old daughter Esmeralda) said in an interview with WWD.com. “When you’re on a red carpet, you’re photographed from every angle and you can’t control that. But if you have products you love, once you go out there, you don’t worry as much. It’s a confidence booster.”
Mendes – who also debuted her own line of affordable make-up, CIRCA, in February – is best known for her roles in Hitch, Lost River, We Own The Night and The Place Beyond The Pines.
The campaign will be unveiled in the northern hemisphere this Fall and appear across digital, television and print advertising platforms.
