When Duchess Catherine stepped out with her brand new daughter yesterday in London, we could hardly believe our eyes. Her hair was perfectly blown out, she looked wide-awake and her skin was glowing.

So how did she do it?

Clearly the Duchess pulled a few Royal strings before leaving the hospital, even going so far as to sneak her hairdresser in.

“Having to look camera ready (for like, all the cameras in the world) a day after giving birth sounds terrifying,” commented fashionista.com. “We’re glad her hairdresser is there. Hope she’s got makeup standing by as well.”

As for that gorgeous skin? We suspect the Duchess kept up her rigorous facial regime throughout her pregnancy. She reportedly books in for regular bee sting facials, which trick the skin into thinking it's been stung.

"This essentially increases blood flow to the skin's surface, boosting collagen production and cell renewal," explained marie claire US. "Mixed with manuka honey, shea butter, essential oils and a secret ingredient, fans of the mask also include Kylie Minogue, Victoria Beckham and Michelle Pfeiffer."

In addition, it's thought the Duchess planned her outfit down to the last flower - her beautiful floral yellow Jenny Packham dress subtly highlighted her figure without making a show of the baby’s gender.

As for the new Princess’s name, the big reveal is expected in the next day or so - stay tuned.
