Considering the gloves she wore to the Golden Globes nearly sent the internet into meltdown mode, we're not surprised Amal Clooney has put a stop to questions about her attire.
The human rights lawyer is currently representing Armenia in the European Court of Human Rights as the country makes its case against Turkish Workers Party leader Dogu Perincek for denying the existence of the Armenian Genocide.
While on her way into work (and not on the red carpet we should add) Clooney was inundated with questions by reporters - and in a case of unfortunate timing, one of them chose that moment to ask the star about her fashion choices.
Her response? She laughed, pointed to her court robes, and said, "I'm wearing Ede & Ravenscroft," (the makers of legal attire).
Kudos to Clooney for handling the question like a pro while subtly making her point.
No doubt her down-to-earth demeanour was one of the many reasons Barbara Walters named her the most fascinating person of 2014.
"Amazingly, Amal has been the subject of very little snark or envy," Walters said. "Maybe because we, like George Clooney, find it impossible to resist perfection."
