The internet has been buzzing with the news that Full House is set to return to TV - and even more so since it was revealed that Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are considering signing on.

But overnight, the Olsen twins revealed they don't actually know much about the reboot - and would have to consider the advice of someone close to them before they approach the creators about reprising their joint role of Michelle Tanner.

"We just found out about it today," confessed Mary-Kate. "I guess we're going to talk to the creators and see what's happening."

John Stamos, who played Michelle's uncle on the hit show, revealed the Full House reboot on Netflix earlier this week, prompting Mary-Kate to say, "I'm shocked I haven't heard from John."

"I ran into Bob the other day and we didn't even talk about it," added Ashley. "I'm going to call Bob and get his perspective."

The confirmed cast of 'Fuller House' as the new show will be called, includes Candace Cameron Bure as DJ Tanner, Jodie Sweetin as Stephanie Tanner, Andrea Barber as Kimmie Gibbler and John Stamos as Uncle Jessie.

This time around, pregnant and recently widowed DJ Tanner-Fuller is living with Stephanie and Kimmie and her "feisty" teenage daughter, who have banded together to help raise DJ's two boys and prepare for the birth of the new baby.

'Full House' originally aired from 1987 to 1995 as a comedy series following three men raising three young girls in San Francisco.
