Yahoo Lifestyle Blake Lively’s Former Co-Stars Are Her Baby’s Godparents
Blake Lively has reportedly appointed some of her former co-stars as her baby's godparents.
The Gossip Girl actress, who gave birth to daughter Violet sometime in the New Year, called on some old friends to take on the responsibility.
Before you jump to conclusions though, rest assured that Chuck Bass from Gossip Girl is not one of Violet's godparents (though we think Ed Westwick would make a perfect choice).
Instead, Lively has appointed her co-stars from The Sisterhood Of The Travelling Pants - Amber Tamblyn, Alexis Bledel and America Ferrera - as her baby's godmothers.
Lively reportedly told everyone about Violet except for Tamblyn, who she enjoys a long history of practical jokes with.
"I went up there and I didn't know, everybody knew but me, and she does that shit to me," Tamblyn told PEOPLE magazine, explaining that Blake had texted her about a new wallpaper she wanted her to see.
"I went up there, and there was her baby," Amber recalls. "That bitch! She tricked me!"
It seems all is forgiven though, with Tamblyn saying she was over the moon to become an aunty.
"I'm very excited for her and Ryan, and to be an aunty," Amber said. "All of us are godmothers, so we are very happy."
Blake stepped out with Amber in October last year.
