Yahoo Lifestyle Get Your Tickets To Flickerfest
For most of the year, short films are the younger siblings of flashy feature films, which dominate the box office. But that all changes over the warmer months thanks to the likes of the recent Tropfest film festival and now, Flickerfest.
From January 8th – 19th, the latter will once again hold court at Bondi’s famous Pavilion. From over 2400 entries, the festival (which goes on sale today) will showcase 100 snazzy short films (including our pick: the hilarious Florence Has Left The Building, starring Jacki Weaver) for guests to watch under the stars.
Can’t get down this year? No matter. After Flickerfest wraps up in Sydney, it will hit the road to 50 destinations around Australia until May. A few select films will even be screened as part of Virgin Australia’s Inflight program.
