Yahoo Lifestyle Sam Worthington As A Dashing War Correspondent In Deadline Gallipoli
You won't be able to watch Foxtel’s new miniseries Deadline Gallipoli until early next year, but if these images are anything to go by, it will be worth the wait. Sam Worthington stars in as a dashing war correspondent alongside an impressive list of co-stars including Hugh Dancy, Rachel Griffiths, Charles Dance (or the recently expired Lord Tywin Lannister from Game of Thrones and John Bell of Bell Shakespeare, in his first television role in more than twenty years.
The miniseries tells the story of a group of journalists sent to Gallipoli to cover the campaign. Worthington promises that the series will be unlike any other exploration of the Anzac legend so far.
“This is a fresh take on the Gallipoli story, with these four journalists fighting to get the truth out and stop the carnage,” the actor said. “I’m honoured to bring such an important story to audiences in Australia and around the world.”

Deadline Gallipoli will air on Foxtel's Showcase in early 2015.
