Lady Gaga walked the runway for Thierry Mugler's A/W 11-12 Paris Fashion Week show earlier today, accompanied by the sound of her latest single, Government Hooker.

The eclectic singer, whose long-time stylist Nicola Forminchetti is Mugler's creative director, appeared on the runway in a shroud of smoke, dressed in a sheer black dress and military inspired hat.

As she sailed down the catwalk in six inch platforms, a parade of peroxide-blonde Gaga look-alikes including Jessica Stam and Coco Rocha followed in hot pursuit.

Although onlookers said Gaga appeared perfectly at ease on the catwalk, she reportedly told Formichetti before the show, "You have no idea how much respect I have for you and for all the models, which is why I'm so f****** nervous. But if I vomit on the stage, it will be good press".

Gaga managed to avoid the latter, instead closing the show in a corseted white "Mulger bride" dress before taking a bow alongside Formichetti.
