“A good mascara, eyebrow pencil and a good multi-tasker like Revlon Age Defying CC Cream – it includes SPF, but also gives me the coverage I need to feel confident going out the door. I think those three things are about accentuating what you have naturally. It’s not changing the shape of your face or the way you look, it just polishes it.”
Saving face
“[My skincare routine is] pretty much the same for [day and night]. I wash everything off my face well and then moisturise. Right now, I really love Dr Hauschka Rose Day Cream. I may add in a weekly exfoliation at night.”

“I always have a good lipstick in my bag. I find that’s usually the thing that rubs off the quickest and when you put it back on, you feel immediately ready again.”

“I try not to overdo anything with my hair and I don’t put a lot of heat on it. It’s less about what I do and more about what I don’t do to it. [My go-to product] is definitely Bumble and Bumble Brilliantine – it’s almost like a glossing cream.”
Mother knows best
“I must have been really little and watched mum put on moisturiser and she was like, ‘Always remember to moisturise your forehead.’ But as a teenager, I had pretty serious acne across my forehead, so I was like ‘No, she’s wrong!’ But actually, in general, she was right.”
Make-up style
“On a day- to-day basis it’s more minimal, and then for special events [I’m] more adventurous. I’m a really low-maintenance person and I like to know that my make-up is going to stay where I put it and never want to have to do a million touch ups at night.”
Face the future:
“Ageing gracefully has a lot to do with perspective and attitude. Don’t be afraid of ageing, but get ahead of it and look after yourself. That really comes with maturity and knowing who you are and what you need. I’m so excited to see how I transform.”
Travel tips
“For in-flight, I drink a lot of water and maybe pack a hydrating spray. When it’s cold in a harsh climate, I’ll switch to a thicker moisturiser.”
