What has been your favorite episode of Recipes for Love and Murder so far?
I think Episode 8, “Always Look After Your Pots,” is my favorite of this season. You really see Maria, Hattie (Jennifer Steyn) and Jessie (Kylie Fisher) work together and the hive mind they create to solve problems. I’m in awe of their friendship and support of each other.

Tell me something about one (or more) of your co-stars that I probably don't know.
Jennifer Steyn is a yoga goddess. She can twist those limbs any which way she likes!

Do you have a favorite recipe from the show?
I’m not sure I’ll ever recover from the vegan cake in season 1. Full disclosure, I love to cook, but I’m not much of a baker. And although I’ve tried, I’ve never managed to reproduce its glorious beauty.

What is your go-to "signature" dish that you like to cook?
I do the comfort cooking at home. Roasted chicken, potatoes, and carrots with cauliflower and cheese sauce is usually a winner.

What's the best thing you've ever eaten?
Fancy restaurants are not really my thing. But when we were filming in Capetown, I was taken to a very fancy one (FYN). And every single thing I tasted was better than the next. It was the best food I have ever had, and I dream about it sometimes. The split pea soup in The Lazy Lizard in Prince Albert is pretty good too.

What's the worst thing you've ever eaten?
I got food poisoning once from a garage-bought sandwich which had obviously been lying around in its own mayo for waaaay too long…
