Mandy Moore is raising a rockstar.

On Thursday, July 25, the pregnant actress, 40, shared a cute video to her Instagram Reels of her 3-year-old son August "Gus" Harrison jamming out on a guitar and singing into a microphone in his pajamas.

The talented toddler got creative with his musical setup. As the soon-to-be mom of three explains, "Gus put the mic up on the windowsill himself so he could play and sing."

The little one even referenced the late singer Tom Petty while "performing" for the park outside the window. "He also announced to everyone at the park that he was the real 'Com Petty,' Moore wrote over the video, adding, "We've told him it's Tom Petty but 🤷‍♀️."

"I'm not sure where he learned the rocking out face but I have a sneaking suspicion it's from @taylordawesgoldsmith," she continued, referencing her husband and Gus' musician dad Taylor Goldsmith, 38, with whom she also shares Oscar "Ozzie" Bennett Goldsmith, 20 months, and their baby on the way.

"Gus is entering his rockstar era 🎸," the proud mom captioned the Reel.

Goldsmith can be heard from behind the camera cheering on his son, and Ozzie even makes an appearance at the end of the video, running up to the mic to add in some backup vocals behind his older brother.

On Father's Day, Moore shared her love for Goldsmith and his impeccable dad skills. "You are hands-down, the greatest partner in all aspects of our life together but watching you as a father is undeniable," Moore wrote in the caption of her Instagram post, which featured pictures of Goldsmith and their two sons.

"You were born to be a dad and knowing how lucky our boys (and soon to be daughter) are to have you in their corner forever is the greatest gift," the This Is Us star continued. "Your patience, humor, energy, and let’s face it: musical curation, are pretty miraculous."

One image featured Goldsmith reading to their sons. In another, Goldsmith watched Gus and Ozzie ride in a red car.

Moore wrapped up her post emphasizing how grateful she is for him.

"There’s no task too big or small that you aren’t willing to do for your family. I’m so grateful for all you are — I couldn’t have dreamed for a better human to share this life with. Happy Father’s Day, @taylordawesgoldsmith.”
