Major update on Kate Middleton: 'Been through an ordeal'
It had been hoped the Princess of Wales would return to work on June 8 but it's been pushed back.
After Kate Middleton was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year, she has remained mostly out of the public eye as she focuses on her health. Now, insiders have shared a rare update on her health.
The Princess of Wales was expected to return to work and participate in the Colonel’s Review on June 8, where she would usually be expected to take the salute after being made colonel in chief of the Irish Guards in 2023.

After it was revealed that Kate had "turned a corner" with her treatment, it's since been confirmed she won't be at the Colonel's Review.
"It has been a great relief that she is tolerating the medication and is actually doing a lot better," a family friend told Vanity Fair, also adding that Kate and Prince William's inner circle had "rallied around" the couple.
"There is no timeline, and there is certainly no hurry," another source adds. "It will be when Catherine feels ready and when she gets the greenlight from her medical team. But she will 100% be coming back to work, of that there is no question."
It's now believed that Kate won't return to work until at least September.

"No one wants to put pressure on Catherine," a source told the Daily Mail. "The only thing that matters at the moment is her getting better. She has been through an ordeal this year."
Back in March when Kate shared the news of her cancer, she requested privacy, "We hope that you will understand that, as a family, we now need some time, space and privacy while I complete my treatment."
"My work has always brought me a deep sense of joy and I look forward to being back when I am able, but for now I must focus on making a full recovery."
