MAFS star Martha's low blow after Cyrell fight

Tonight’s Married At First Sight saw a fiery catfight between Cyrell and Martha take a violent turn when Cyrell aggressively tugged at Martha’s robe before breaking a ceramic bowl in her apartment.

Following the ordeal, which was spurred on by a rumour about Nic rubbing up Jess’ leg, Cyrell chose to apologise to Martha as per MAFS expert John Aiken’s instructions in the emergency couple’s counselling session.

But the apology didn’t go down as smoothly as expected, and Martha made it clear afterwards that she had done anything but forgiven Cyrell.

In a piece-to-camera with producers and crew members, Martha took a big swipe at the fellow reality star with an offensive comment likening her to a dog.

“She’s not sorry. She’s just a woman who is out of control. She can’t control her emotions. She doesn’t know how to articulate what she wants to say or what she’s thinking,” said Martha.

“Her and Nic aren’t obviously working out but I mean, I guess if it doesn’t work out with them, she could have a really successful career with Pedigree Pal as a model or something like that,” she added, referring to the well-known pet food brand.

Earlier in the episode, Cyrell, Nic, Jess and Mick visited Martha and husband Michael’s apartment to set the record straight on some rumours about Nic apparently rubbing Jess’ leg.

The discussion between Cyrell and Martha became heated very quickly, and when Martha asked Cyrell not to swear towards her, Cyrell’s aggression kicked in.

“When I get angry like that, it takes a while for me to stop and the one thing I don’t like is, I end up saying things I really don’t mean,” Cyrell later told expert John Aiken during a counselling session.

“You cannot get that aggressive with people,” John eventually told her, before asking her to apologise to Martha in person.

We know that the apology didn’t end very well, with Martha not happy that Cyrell would only apologise for her aggressive behaviour and not what she said.

What’s more, there’s only further drama to come if the preview for the next episode is anything to go by.

The teaser shows Cyrell and Martha have another one-to-one chat at the dinner party, and this is something we don’t want to miss.
