MAFS star Ines Basic looks unrecognisable in throwback photo

Married At First Sight star Ines Basic has been at the centre of all the drama during this year’s season.

Whether it’s fighting with her husband Bronson, sneaking behind his back with ‘married’ man Sam, or fighting with his ‘wife’ Elizabeth – Ines has delivered in the entertainment department for us MAFS lovers.

While we’re all used to seeing Ines wear her dark brown hair in a slicked back ponytail, she hasn’t always worn it that way.

In a throwback photo from her high school days posted by Hit105.5 Coffs Coast on Facebook, it appears the legal assistant used to rock some serious side bangs.

The 28-year-old looks almost unrecognisable in the yearbook snap, and the outlet even joked it was a “rare shot of her smiling”.

Last night in the most recent saga of Ines’ affair with Sam, the Queenslander nearly crossed paths with Elizabeth as she returned to the show after being sick.

The pair came to blows on their girls’ night out in the Gold Coast, after Cyrell informed Liz about a rumour Ines and Sam had been in the sauna together.

While Ines denied the rumours, we’re pretty sure they’re not going to be able to keep up this facade for much longer.

Married At First Sight continues tonight on Channel Nine at 7.30pm.
