MAFS' Ollie Skelton reveals real reason behind split with Tahnee Cook
"I still have love for Tahnee."
Married at First Sight's Ollie Skelton and Tahnee Cook were one of the strongest couples during and after Season 10 of MAFS, but they shocked fans recently when they announced they had split.
After dating for 16 months and Ollie relocating to Sydney from Perth to move in with Tahnee, the former reality stars announced last week in separate statements that they had quietly split stating that their lives were going in "different directions".
Last week, a source told Yahoo Lifestyle that the couple never had a chance to "take a breath" after their whirlwind MAFS romance.
“They still love each other and there’s no hard feelings, they’re just not compatible," the insider said.
Now Ollie himself has shed more light on what happened between the pair, saying the two struggled to find things in common.
Speaking on his podcast Tosser, Ollie said he still has love for his ex but explained they were "really, really different".

"I think Tahnee has some great qualities and I have so much respect for her and I still have love for Tahnee but at our core, we are just really, really different," he said.
"Different not just in likes and hobbies, it's not just in values, it's not just in how we navigate our issues, but our wants, our beliefs," Ollie continued.
He then said as the couple spent more time together they realised it was "OK" they were different, saying they had both fallen out of love with a "multitude of factors" contributing to that.
Tahnee confirmed on her podcast Chuffed that she and Ollie were still living together in their Sydney apartment while they navigated their split.

“Obviously this is not normal by any means, but as you guys know Ollie moved from Perth to Sydney so we will actually be living together for, I don’t know, maybe a couple months? We’ll see,” she said.
"This housing crisis, cost of living crisis is not cute. So yeah, I don’t even know how to navigate that, to be honest. So hopefully Ollie and I are just going to be alright because it’s just hectic.”
Tahnee went on to say that everything is “all good” and she and Ollie are focused on “navigating this new territory for us”.
