MAFS' Olivia Frazer deletes Instagram after teary video: 'Be nicer'

'I’ve put in so much work for people to see that show is not me.'

Married at First Sight's Olivia Frazer has deleted her Instagram account after posting a tearful video about the consistent messages of hate she's been receiving for nearly two years.

Olivia reportedly shared a series of text posts and videos about the spiteful comments that she's targeted with on a daily level, before urging people to be nicer.

"And people [wonder] why my mental health yo-yos so dramatically and why I still talk about the negative impacts of MAFS," she wrote.

"There's people saying they're glad my Dad passed away, that I'm disgusting, threatening violence towards me."

"I’m so f***ing sick of having to defend myself. It’s two years later. I’ve put in so much work for people to see that show is not me. And I’m just really sick of it. I’m just really f***ing sick of it. Like I just want to not feel like s*** for once,” she said in a video on her Instagram Story, as reported by Pedestrian.

“I want to go out in public and not feel apologetic like I’ve done something wrong all the time. Please just stop this.

"I’m just so sick of having to be on the defence all the time. I miss the life where I could walk down the street and not feel judged,” she continued.

“I just thought maybe if I put this out there it might stop just one person from writing one mean comment. You just don’t know what will be the straw that breaks the camel’s back so be nicer on the internet.”

Speaking with Yahoo Lifestyle last year, Olivia opened up about her struggles post-MAFS and spending indefinite time in Scotland to get away from the constant vitriol she was receiving in Australia.

“There's a lot more work opportunities [overseas] and the people are more forgiving,” she said. “It’s easier to move on whereas in Australia people hold you to your edit forever.”
