MAFS 2024: First look at brides and grooms

"I'm dinner, and a show... and dessert!"

In exciting news for reality TV fans, Married at First Sight has announced it will be back on our screens in early 2024 with Season 11 premiering on January 29.

MAFS has given us our first sneak peek at this season, first with a dreamy new promo, showing beautiful people falling and floating through the sky... as you do.

"Why else am I here?" a woman's voiceover begins. "I just need to let go, and fall... I'm ready to surrender my heart."

A man's voiceover joins her.

"I'm looking for that missing piece in my life, I've never been in love," he says, as the two people stare intently into each other's eyes before kissing.

Over on Channel Nine's website, the first trailer shows us some of the grooms and brides sharing their vows, with MAFS oldest-ever groom Richard Sauerman coming out with the best line so far.

"I'm not everyone's cup of tea," he tells his new bride Andrea. "But f*** them, I drink coffee anyway."

We also get a sneak peek at former MAFS star Mitch Eynaud's little brother Jayden, 26, exchanging his vows, as well as Tim, 30, surprising his new match by saying his vows in Spanish.

MAFS 2024: What we know so far

Touted as its "most polarising season" the 2024 series is said to have "next-level" drama and a whole lot of love, with 20 very brave singles embarking on the journey to the altar to marry a stranger.

The show stated that Season 11 of MAFS will bring in a "fresh take" with one of the most diverse cast of brides and grooms, including a more age-diverse mix of people and a same-sex couple.

While there have already been rumours of walk-outs and scandals, MAFS 2024 is set to push the limits on "everything viewers think they know about the series".

"There will be even more heart-pounding romance and highly addictive drama with twists, turns, and shocks — even beyond Final Vows — and rivalries, betrayals, and heartbreak that will divide friendships and rock the experiment," the MAFS press release teased.
