MAFS stars slammed for private jet travel amid pandemic

Married at First Sight stars Michael Goonan and KC Osbourne have been called out after sharing photos of a trip via private jet to Instagram amid the coronavirus pandemic.

“A work trip turned into a fun trip,” KC posted alongside a selfie of herself living it up and snaps of her and Michael enjoying the flight.

Michael also added on his own account: “The fine line of mixing business with pleasure.”

The trip between Sydney and Melbourne is not illegal and travel is permitted if you are an essential worker heading to and from work.

However, some questioned whether it was necessary for KC, who is a dance teacher currently teaching her classes online, to tag along.

“It's nice to know that social distancing lockdown rules don't apply to people with money,” one person commented.

“Not supposed to be travelling,” another added.

Others just thought it was insensitive to be flaunting the money and privilege at a time when Australians have lost their jobs.

“Really? A private jet? Other Australians are struggling to get home once they are here, they are in quarantine for two weeks,” one person wrote.

“Just remember, things are hard for all Australians now. That is just showing off,” was another respones.

Noticing some of the comments KC did attempt to defend herself.

“I am a normal person that experiences highs and lows and I will be showing all of that,” she said.

“I have no disregard to what is going on in the world and I do what I can to give back and to encourage kids. I’m not perfect but this is MY LIFE and I will live how I want.”

It comes after the pair officially confirmed they were together in a joint interview with New Idea, earlier this month, revealing they'd been together for weeks.

Michael told the publication, “It's love... We have one hell of a journey ahead of us.”

The pair has been self-isolating together at Michael's house after they decided they couldn't be apart from each other and wanted to isolate together.
