MAFS star, Lizzie, has shared raw images of her medical condition to Instagram in a bid to start up a conversation about how “it’s ok not to be ok.”

The 27-year-old has always been honest about her chronic health conditions, and in her new video she has opened up about the reality of life with chronic illness, and reached out to others who are suffering.

In the brutally honest video Lizzie explains how she sometimes suffered pain so intense she would want to fall to the ground and scream out in pain, and insists: “it doesn’t make you less of a person”.

Alongside the video the reality star shared candid images of the effects of her two chronic health conditions, and she doesn’t shy away.

“To everyone out there dealing with chronic illness, I hear you, I feel for you, I know you,” the caption reads.

The MAFS star included images of an inflamed piercing, an inflammation on her face, psoriasis on the nape of her neck, and her nails in the post.

Lizzie suffers from Porphyria, a blood disorder that can affect the skin and nervous system, and a mild form of Lupus.

The star has earlier revealed that the stressful environment of the MAFS set took a further toll on her health and led to the infections.

Both conditions mean Elizabeth needs to be wary of sunlight, and explains why she chooses to wear hair extensions that protect her scalp from the sun.

The reality star has almost 200k followers, 2000 of which have already liked the post within the hour.
