MAFS’ Elizabeth has a good reason for not ditching her hair extensions
Since leaving Married at First Sight, Elizabeth Sobinoff has completely overhauled her look, and her fans are loving it.
The 27-year-old has swapped her platinum locks for a darker shade, and eased back on her more-is-more approach to makeup.
She’s also been sharing photos of herself with a new bob, but despite appearances, she has assured fans her famous hair extensions are still in, and it’s because of a painful medical condition.

“I just wanted to let people know that my hair extensions are still there,” Elizabeth wrote alongside an Instagram photo of her new bob.
She explained that she cut the tape extensions she usually wears, making them less noticeable, but still needs to wear them.
“I do indeed have a medical condition where I lose my hair due to overexposure of light, and I have a rash predominantly on the back of my nape travelling to my ears, it covers most of my scalp, but the bulk of the rash is at the back of my head,” she wrote.
“It is not pleasant and it never leaves and I have to treat it with a steroid every second day. The extensions act a way similar to a hat. Due to the bulk of hair it offers my scalp more of a form of protection.”
Elizabeth didn’t exactly have the easiest time on the reality show, with her hair and makeup look raising eyebrows on social media, and her cheating groom, Sam, bodyshaming her.
